Functionally incomplete on MacBook Pro 15

This application has usability issues that leave one wondering if it either does not work properly, or is purposely missing features in the free version. These issues are:
1) It does not properly indicate the current resolution set under System Preferences, Displays, Resolution, Scaled, that is, the current resolution is not checked in Display Menu.
2) It does not detect all the available resolutions. For example, using the built-in display on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), the highest Scaled setting More Space (1980 x 1200) is not available in the resolutions list of Display Menu.

Second guessing which setting is in effect is a huge usability problem.
