Missing 1920x1200 - otherwise works fine
TL;DR - using a headless Mac Pro via Screen sharing this app allows me to set the resolution to a variety of choices, just none that fit the many 24” monitors I own (1920x1200). 1920x1080 works, so better than nothing.
I have a 5K iMac with a 24” 1920x1200 monitor attached. I often use the extra monitor for remote use of my older Mac Pro, but because it is headless the system preferences only lists 1280x1024. I was referred to this app by a maker of a dummy HDMI dongle to help me solve the issue. 1920x1200 was not an option in the free version, so I purchased the Pro version. Still not an option. The Pro version allows using scripting resolution changes, but that doesn’t work either. I reached out via Twitter to the developer and got a near instant response (5 stars for that!), but his suggestion was to buy an HDMI dongle...
So - I use 1920x1080. The loss of 230,400 pixels is less than running at 1280x1024, but I can’t figure out why other 16:10 resolutions are listed as choices, but not the common 1920x1200.
