I want you to like use the 16:10 1920×1200 display

Glorified extension of the display setting in preferences

This app does nothing but to get an icon on the toolbar containing all your display settings which can be found with a few mouse clicks in the system preferences. Unless you are a lazy rat this is not for you. This app doesn’t even have support for ultra widescreen monitors. Not surprised no update has been made since December 2014.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Life saver for ML

Thank you guys for this application!

Отлично работает

Excellent App, but dont work on Mavericks ;( How can i support developer? Where is payment button? ;)

After upgrade I can’t use HiDPI mode with my Apple Thunderbolt Display

Please fix the bug with Apple Thunderbolt display and HiDPI modes. After upgrade I can’t see any HiDPI modes when my Apple Thunderbolt display connected to MBP Pro Retina.

Not working on Retina MBP properly

Resolution list isn’t relevant. When I switch resolution, pixels become garbled. RDM 0.2 works fine for same purpose.

No retina display native resolution support

Doesn’t work as expected. Cant switch between Macbook retina native resolutions.

What I was looking for, but with a catch

Is actually a good alternative to QuickRes and is available on the AppStore. The only catch is that doesnt have available the 1920x1200 mode, identified on the retina as the "More Space" display resolution. On my MacBook Pro 15" Retina gives the following available resolutions: 4:3 800x600 4:3 1024x768 16:10 720x450 HiDPI 16:10 840x525 HiDPI 16:10 1024x640 HiDPI 16:10 1280x800 16:10 1280x800 HiDPI 16:10 1440x900 16:10 1680x1050 16:10 2048x1280 16:10 2560x1600 16:10 2880x1800 I will deinstall it and get back to QuickRes, hopefully the 1920x1200 resolution mode will made available soon.

God Bless You

need keybouard shortcut but perfect for that supermissing feature. tnx a lot! Andrea

Must have for any developer and anyone who uses a projector

Love this app, can tweak my macbook retina pro’s resolution to show more lines of code, easily change resolution for code presentations, or adjust for whatever reason.

Exellent Display Utility

Projectors and Big Screen LCD TV Monitors of various brands are widely used in all conference rooms at my workplace. And quite often, Mac OS X Maverick’s default display settings couldn’t detect the correct resolution which can be an inconvenience when doing presentations. This Display Menu tool is a savior in my situation and helps me choose and explore the correct resolution and optimal frequency. My thanks to the developer who had offered this for free. I give this 5 stars.

Good, with one small problem...

I use this app to switch my screen to High DPI mode for devlopment testing. The problem is, once I do that the app becomes inaccessable in the menu bar because there is too little screen space for more than a couple of menu icons to display (which are always taken up by Apple’s built in menu items). As a result I have to go into system preferences every time I need to exit out of High DPI mode, which pretty much defeats the purpose of me using the menu in the first place. It would be nice to be able to set a hot key to open the menu and/or set a hot key to activate specific resolutions...

Thank You!

Works as promised. As good as the original feature, if not better. Due to the work I do, I held off upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mavericks because I knew this feature was missing in the OS. Thank you!

Worth pro upgrade

I am frequently access mac mini from macbook air via screen sharing. My mac mini has two monitors and higher resolution than my macbook air. Thanks to apple script support in pro version, I can switch resolution and mirring toggle with a single keyboard shortcut(using Automator). Here is my script. I combined two examples from support page. tell application "Display Menu" set theResolution to current resolution on display "DELL U2412M" if (theResolution = "1920 x 1200") then toggle mirroring delay 3 select resolution "1440x900" on display "DELL U2412M" else toggle mirroring end if end tell

Does what it says

I like the app, it’s simple and does what it says. The only problem is that I have the wrong resolution 1650x1050 but it should be 1680x1050 (late 2013 13” retina MacBook Pro)

DM 2.2.1 app will not load on Yosemite

Maybe I missed something somewhere but this app will not load for me. Any known issues with this version?

Outstanding

With Yosemite, the 1920x1080 screen option in settings/display disappeared. I spent (I am ashamed to say) half a day trying to properly configure my non-Apple second monitor after installing Yosemite, and couldn’t get it just right. This little app fixed the problem in seconds and my screen looks better than ever. The app does exactly what it promises, and more.
